Dr. Hart enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a particular interest in dentistry after having practiced with a dental specialist for a number of years.
When not at the office or visiting college and grad school aged daughters, Dr. Hart enjoys spending time with her husband and their two Great Danes walking the neighborhood, taking care of the yard, and finding all the fun coffee shops, breweries and distilleries in the area!
Dr. Chang
I was born in Busan, South Korea and raised in Plano, Texas. I received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with Business minor from Cornell University. Then attended veterinary school at St. George’s University in Grenada finishing up with my clinical year at Cornell University. I am interested in small animal surgery and dentistry.
In my free time, I enjoy going on hikes with my dog, Willow, fishing, and reading.
Dr. Purdy
Dr. Purdy grew up in Atlanta, Georgia where most of her free time was spent riding and working with horses. Her time spent at the barn ultimately led her to pursue a passion of small animal medicine. She studied at Auburn University while riding on the Equestrian Team for her undergraduate degree and then pursued her doctorate in veterinary medicine at the University of Florida, graduating in 2016. Dr. Purdy’s professional interests include preventative medicine and fear free patient care. When not in the clinic, she enjoys getting out in the city and the mountains with her family and four dogs as much as possible
Karen – Practice Manager
Karen is a Colorado native who fell in love with animals at a young age of 4 when she got her first dog, Greif of Candy Cane the Second. She has raised 6 human children and countless of the fur, feather and scale variety. Her career in veterinary medicine was inspired by her daughter, who she is proud to say is now a veterinarian! Karen has devoted 13 years to the field and hasn’t looked back! Her hobbies include spending quality time with her husband and family, working in her yard, crocheting and playing with her fur babies.
Kristi – Veterinary Assistant
Kristi is a certified veterinary technician of 6 years and counting! She graduated from Bel-Rea institute of animal technology in 2018. She discovered that she wanted to be in this field during the life of her full breed corgi Harley, while she was in a wheelchair for her last 2-3 years of her life. She has learned a great deal of medicine since her sweet Harley, and she is thankful for what she knows now. After Harley she was able to use her career to help her take care of her last family pet Zoe. These two play a huge role in what she loves in veterinary medicine, patient care and client education and communication! Veterinary medicine is one of her two passions! Kristi’s other passion is dance, many of kinds as she is a part of a beautiful performance team called In Blume. They are a Latin fusion type of style, and she is so thankful for her other passion in this life to give her an outlet for her energy! She wants to continue to grow and teach in the field of veterinary medicine, and give patients the best care, and their owners the education, compassion and communication that people deserve!
