Dr Hart – Principal Doctor

Dr. Lisa Hart is a native of Denver.  She received her Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from Colorado State University in 1989, and continued on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1993.  She has practiced small animal medicine and surgery in the Denver Metro area since that time.  

Dr. Hart enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a particular interest in dentistry after having practiced with a dental specialist for a number of years.

When not at the office or visiting college and grad school aged daughters, Dr. Hart enjoys spending time with her husband and their two Great Danes walking the neighborhood, taking care of the yard, and finding all the fun coffee shops, breweries and distilleries in the area!

Dr. Chang

I was born in Busan, South Korea and raised in Plano, Texas. I received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with Business minor from Cornell University. Then attended veterinary school at St. George’s University in Grenada finishing up with my clinical year at Cornell University. I am interested in small animal surgery and dentistry. 

In my free time, I enjoy going on hikes with my dog, Willow, fishing, and reading. 

Karen – Practice Manager

Karen is a Colorado native who fell in love with animals at a young age of 4 when she got her first dog, Greif of Candy Cane the Second. She has raised 6 human children and countless of the fur, feather and scale variety. Her career in veterinary medicine was inspired by her daughter, who she is proud to say is now a veterinarian! Karen has devoted 13 years to the field and hasn’t looked back! Her hobbies include spending quality time with her husband and family, working in her yard, crocheting and playing with her fur babies.

Sara​ – Certified Veterinary Technician, Lead Technician

Sara is a Colorado native and a Certified Veterinary Technician of 6 years who enjoys surgery, wound care, clinical pathology, and parasitology. Sara graduated from Pima Medical Aurora in 2017. Sara has experience in specialty, emergency, and shelter medicine, she greatly enjoys working with animals. 

When not at work Sara enjoys spending time with her young son, riding horses, listening to music, reading, and has a passion for the paranormal.

Ariacna – Veterinary Technician

Ariacna, was born and raised in Denver, Co she knew she wanted to work with animals from a young age. On her visits to Mexico growing up, she would see a lot of strays and animal abuse. Since then, she knew she wanted to advocate to help animals. Being in the position of helping animals has given her purpose and made her feel like she’s making a difference in your and your pet’s lives. She is a proud fur mom of a feisty dog Ollie and a cuddly Chinchilla named precious.

Kelsea – Veterinary Technician

Kelsea is a born and raised Coloradan whose long standing love for animals has brought her into the veterinary field. When she’s not working as a Veterinary Technician she can usually be found reading or any other nerdy pastime. She lives with her husband, two wonderful dogs, and a mischievous cat. 

Alanna​ – Veterinary Assistant

Alanna has lived in Colorado for four years. She has always had a passion for working with animals starting out at a doggy daycare then working her way up to a veterinary assistant looking forward to becoming certified. She has a dog named Timber. She spends her free time reading, cooking, going to dog parks, hanging out with friends, and hiking. 

Destiny

Destiny has been in the veterinary field for 5 years and has a special interest in emergency medicine as well as helping educate owners on all things regarding puppy/kitten care. She has two cats; Flower and Boo Berries as well as a Great Pyrenees named Ellie. In her spare time, she enjoys reading cooking, refinishing furniture and spending time with her animals. 

Ismael​ – Veterinary Assistant

Ismael has been in the vet field for 7 years as an assistant. He looks forward to caring for your fur babies and helping with any concerns that you may have about their health.
